“Spruce is an exceptional restaurant and has a sexy, romantic vibe. The food is outstanding, whether it's a simple burger or the corn ravioli, everything is great here. They also have an extensive and thorough wine list, and if that's not enough, they also have a number of signature cocktails, of which our favorite is the Pamarosa: Rose and Pomegranate Liquors with sparkling wine.”

“California cuisine at its finest (and sexiest). Come to this gorgeous restaurant for the duck and the foie gras, but stay for the romantic decor. If you can stop fondling the velvet benches (or your date) long enough, try looking through Spruce's extensive wine list; it's worth the detour.”

“This is a great place for a very special dinner or for simply meeting for a drink. The food and service are excellent at this place. I recently went to the bar for drinks and dinner with a friend. We were able to chose from the bar menu, great in these tough economic times, without having to spend alot of money. The decor and atmosphere make you feel like you are in New York city, however, Spruce is located in such a cute neighborhood (simple and slow) that you don't feel overwhelmed once you walk out. I walk to this place from my home in SF.”
