“The bathrooms were terrible. The bath was a round tub about 3 feet deep up on a platform which you had to climb up and over to get into and was very dangerous when trying to get out. The shower above was more like a mist and water went everywhere as there was no curtain or enclosure. The bedroom had a bar/counter in it with two high bar stools which were very inappropriate for a bedroom where low chairs that you can sit on for putting shoes on would be more suitable. The restaurant was badly laid out and the food was not impressive at all. Seats in the bar were impractical for anyone over5ft”

“Hotel was very good - although rooms were a bit on the small size and wardrobe space was limited. Staff were very good and helpful. Breakfast was a bit uninspiring. Overall, a good experience.”

“Great little Hotel - well priced - could do with fixing a few things in the room that didn't work. Breakfast was not great - no food left and not enough stff. Bar staff was excellent - very welcoming and attentive.”

“LOVED the hotel. The attention to detail in the design of the room was great, particularly that big, purple-tiled shower. The location was a little off the beaten path, but the hotel offered a free shuttle, which we used a few times.”

“Be warned, the level of filth in the guest rooms is a level most people will be appalled by. While the public spaces are stunning and clean, the guest rooms are definitely not an option for those with asthma - carpets are not vacuumed, thick coats of dust throughout the room. Towels and sheets were soiled.”

“Disappointed that the elevator was not working, and my room was on the 3rd floor. Also had difficulty with the phone services. As this was my 2nd stay at this hotel, with none of these problems during the first stay, I should hope they are isolated incidents.”
