“One of the best guest rooms I've ever stayed in. The 4th floor corner room with the balcony was spectacular. I was ready to move in permanently. Staff was courteous, informative and helpful. All hotels should be like this!”

“Parfaite localisation pour qui s'intéresse à l'art contemporain et au Berlin qui bouge. Chambre parfaite qui ferait un studio idéal pour séjouner quelques jours. Très agréable accueil.Un bémol, la salle pour les petits déjeuners et dîner où l'on réalise à quel point le design à outrance peut faire des ravages dans le genre croisement de styles. Nourriture : je passe.”

“As the interior of Lux 11 is quite cool the rooms are not very inviting if the weather outside is not nice. And we had to leave early in the morning (8:00 o'clock) to catch a flight and there was no possibility to have breakfast there which was disappointing”

“We encountered 2 problems. My husband arrived in Berlin first and surveyed the initial room we selected. It was too small. He then booked into a suite - fabulous space, excellent storage, etc. The staff was friendly and accomodating to him and the price was good for the upgrade. They even had washing machines and dryers in the basement. The one downside to the hotel - no air conditioning and it was quite hot in Berlin. We had a floor fan because we were in a suite. Others were not so lucky; some people checked out of the hotel. We managed to sleep because of the fan.”

“I LOVED THE HOTEL. CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, STYLISH. IN A NICE AREA, WAKING DISTENCE FROM ALL THE IMPORTANT BUILDINGS-MUSEUMS.I ENJOYED COFFEE IN THE ROOM, MUSIC....AND OVER ALL NEXT TIME IN BERLIN I WOULD LIKE TO STAY AT LUX -11 IF I AM LUCKY TO FIND A ROOM!”

“The hotel and room was good, however, without air conditioning, it was a rather unpleasant experience with more than 30 degrees in Berlin. We would therefore not stay here again in the summer and would probably not recommend anyone else to either, but could come back in the winter. Hotel should install air con.”

“Reception at this hotel were only interested in selling hotel services (chauffeur vehicles etc) would not give any useful tourist information help. Otherwise the hotel would have been a much nicer experience.”
