1. “The Claris Hotel was lovely. The rooms were very nice (small) but well appointed. The hotel is very pretty. Rooftop pool and bar very cool. Service and staff more than helpful. Great location - right in the center of town - perfect for walking to sites and shopping and restaurants.”

3. “Really good hotel in perfect area.We were upgraded to a duplex suite which was a nice touch. Nice blend of style and minimalism. Staff very attentive.Liked the roof terrace and pool.Difficult to fault really.”

4. “The Claris' one drawback was its bed, which was a mere double bed, and there simply wasn't enough room for me and my wife. I slept miserably each night, and it caused my overall rating of the hotel to be lower than it otherwise would. I don't know what they were thinking when they didn't put at least a queen-size in the room.”

7. “The modern decor in the room was uncomfortable. The wooden floors made the room feel uninviting. The area where the bed was was on a raised platform making it dangerous when you used the bathroom during the night. the staff was very efficient and friendly and helped to make the overall stay pleasant.”

9. “It was nice, but not what I expect from a five star hotel. The hotel looked very good. It felt like I was in a well designed building, until it was time to sleep. It was one of the noisier hotels I've stayed at. All the floors were wood, stone or marble. They looked great, but added to the noise. The room transformer hummed, but I didn't realize that's what making the noise until the last night, so I didn't ask to change rooms.”
