“Overall, the Grand Hotel Central was a fantastic choice. The rooms were modern, spacious, well designed and comfortable. Certainly, the bathroom was most interesting element, with great slate walls and one very large tub (used repeatedly).The location could not have been better for our visit, as much of what we wanted to see in Barcelona was centered in the old neighborhoods of Born and Gotic, which the Hotel Grand Central sits between. The hotel provided a map with a 2 day walking tour that was both enjoyable and thorough. The gym was small and simple, but covered off on all we needed for a quick workout (late night paella does not do wonders for the body!). The roof was gorgeous, however it was not warm enough to enjoy the pool. We will certainly have to return when its a bit warmer to take advantage of the facilities.The staff was very helpful and their recommendations were solid.”

“Located very close to the nice Bourne district with lots of nice restaurants and tapas bars. Also close to the Gothic district and the Ramblas. The food room service delivered from the Actual restaurant was very good. Nice to have a free minibar in the room, although the content could have been more versatile.”
