“The area was excellent (right around the corner from the Notre Dame), the decor and ambiance was excellent, and the breakfast and wine&cheese was very pleasant. The gym was also very nice.”

“Location is convenient to public transportation and tourist attractions. Staff was friendly and always available. The room was the highlight - beautifully decorated and with a balcony overlooking downtown. Hotel also offers a free breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese hour in the evening.”

“The staff at this hotel were extremely courteous, going as far as packaging a vase and flowers for us to take back to toronto. Room was upgraded through tablet to a suite which included a fireplace, which was a very nice bonus. Overall hotel is a gem located in the heart of old montreal”

“The Place D'armes was conveniently located and well priced. One of the critical offerings was the availability of parking. The staff made parking easy. Retrieving the car for short jaunts was no problem. We didn't need to retrieve the car often because the hotel is so well located and the metro only blocks away. The decor was elegantly modern blended into the period feel of Montreal's Veiux Port. The staff was friendly and efficient. I had to go out for a bit and wanted to have coffee as soon as I returned. I asked that coffee be delivered while I was out and it was there, good and hot, when I returned. All went very well.”
