“Location of hotel is excellent and the building has been very sympathetically restored to make the most of original features. The reception area is rather unimpressive located in a porch area of the original building but this has been done to preserve some fantastic decorative features. Staff were very pleasant. Lovely roof terrace for a drink on a warm evening. Beds were on wheels and so rolled away from headboard (my colleague on the trip commented to me that he found this irritating also) and I could not find a way of securing them. Other than this very comfortable and would recommend.”

“The rooms. I was very tempted to extend my stay in Madrid to enjoy a few more days/nights in the room. It is comfortable, relaxing. The bathroom is great too, large with lovely toiletries and fluffy towels. Whether you are alone or with someone, the room is good enough to relax in and make your stay in Madrid even more enjoyable.The free internet access is fantastic as well. The staff are great as well. Very knowledegable, very helpful and very friendly.”
